Financial Conduct Authority.

Zest is an Appointed Representative of Alternative Propositions Limited (APL) who act as our Principal. The Directors of APL and zest are approved persons and it is their responsibility to ensure that the business meets the requirements of FCA regulations.

The FCA regulations cover all aspects of how to run a business correctly including treating customers fairly, holding client money and systems and controls.

APL is responsible for how zest comply with the FCA regulations and regularly review management information to demonstrate that they are managing our compliance.

As zest is regulated by the FCA, zest also complies with the Financial Ombudsman Service regarding complaints handling. Zest also contributes to the Financial Service Compensations Scheme which is a pool for compensating customers should a financial service go bust.

Zest is also regulated by other key governing bodies including:

Ofcom, Information Commissioners Office (ICO), The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and Telephone Preference Service (TPS).
